#MoreThroughChrist - More Missionaries

As you may have noticed, we've missed a few blogs lately. (My goal was at least one per week) Our delay was due not only to our busy days in the office, but the added work with handling referrals from a Facebook campaign.

The Asia area of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints recently launched a Facebook/Instagram ad campaign titled #MoreThroughChrist. These ads focused on how people will find more through Christ. This could include more Hope, Love, Purpose, Peace or anything someone may need. The video showed various people from around Asia, holding signs that shared what they need or have gained from Christ... #More ______________ Through Christ. Link to video #MoreThroughChrist

Everyone was then encouraged to create their own sign and show everyone what they want, need or have received through Christ.

Some comments from Sister Missionaries (shown above, at the beginning of this blog) after they called some of these people on the phone the first time:

-He is so interested. Awaiting our call to meet.

-This man is ready to receive the message.

-Sorry, not interested.

-Ready to meet you. Please pray from my family.

-Yes. I will bring my son to church. He needs to go.

-Please send the address of the closest church. I want to come.

Each referral took some time to process and we had over a thousand to work through. It is amazing how many are contacting us through this medium.

Thanks to our family for the rain boots. The rainy season just started here. Check out this video walking back to our apartment - no sidewalks.

Caught in a traffic jamb in India? No problem for scooters. They just take the sidewalks and even fit through the barrier posts that are suppose to deter this.
